In the last few month Danavis Marine have been working on helping one of our clients getting ready to take over a passenger vessel after a longer lay-up period. The vessel is now under full crew management by our close partner Danica Crewing Services and have a crew of 17 on board working on getting the vessel ready for entering back into operation.
To get the vessel back into operation Danavis Marine was in early May 2017 asked by the Owner to take over the management of the vessel, this made it necessary for Danavis Marine in cooperation with DNVGL Class to get a DOC for passenger ships.
We are very satisfied with the cooperation with DNVGL Klaipeda which made it possible for them to issue DOC on the 9th of June for passenger ships.
