Yet another busy quarter, this the last quarter of 2020. The Biofuel survey season have started very slow, mainly due to warm weather which reduces the need for import of Biofuels to the receiving countries of Western Europe.
Another task has been to assist a new Client in overseeing the loading of Coal Fly Ash from Poland which we have helped the Client with on 2 occasions in 4th quarter of 2020.
On the 11th of November we finally received our Accreditation Certificate covering ISO 17020:2012 Our accreditation includes Sample Taking according to ISO standards 18135:2017 and sample preparation according to 14780:2017.
We are of course very pleased that we succeeded in what we set out to achieve in 2020 and I am very grateful for the hard work the Danavis Team has done to get this accreditation.
It has also been a pleasure to assist Owners and Insurance Underwriters in 4th quarter with 4 cases ranging from a minor repair after flooding of an engine room to reduction gear box repair and collisions between two vessels where Danavis have been handling the H&M side of things regarding repair of both vessels.
